See the Breakthrough in Action: How KeriCure's Advanced Hydrogel and Spray Transform Burn Treatment

The KeriCure Medical advanced wound dressings are designed for the management of dermal wounds, including partial and full thickness burn wounds, chronic wounds, abrasions and other dermal injuries. The wound dressings investigated in this case study are intended to create a moist wound environment that promotes wound healing by forming a protective, highly elastic, semi-occlusive polymer barrier over the wound. The dressing donates moisture that is critical for optimal healing. The novel polyacrylate polymer in the dressing is highly absorptive, pulling exudates and infectious material from the wound bed to aide in wound closure, reduce edema, and promote granulation tissue formation.

This partial thickness burn was managed with both the Advanced Shield Hydrogel and Advanced Shield MAX spray on barrier, achieving full wound closure and re- epithelialization within 18 days from the traumatic injury.
